Salute to Dealers 2013

Date: 7/15/2014
Author: Andrew Shoushanian

Versacom has just completed work on the 14th annual “Salute To Dealers” program for Ford Motor Company. This is our 7th consecutive year working on the program and we continue to be amazed by the humanitarian efforts of the dealers involved in the program.

The Salute To Dealers initiative identifies and honors Dealer Principals who reach out to improve the lives of those in need while providing outstanding products and services. The dealer nominees’ and honorees’ impact on their communities is extraordinary! Each year, as a group, they provide support for a multitude of worthy causes.

For the 2014 Award, six dealers, from a field of more than 8,500 Ford Motor Company dealers worldwide, were honored. They were recognized by Edsel B. Ford II, a member for of Ford’s Board of Directors, during the annual National Automobile Dealers Association Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 24.

The contribution made by the nominees and honorees is remarkable.  Their unselfish commitment to better the lives of those less fortunate, in their communities and around the world, is something that is truly inspiring. These dealers’ passion for making a difference in the lives of their customers and their communities is a value they pass on to their employees and future generations.

Versacom handled all elements of the multi-faceted program. These included research, editorial and production for all video program elements, production of collateral and dealer materials as well as onsite event logistics, support and coordination.

Our credentials and experience, as well as our unique understanding and appreciation for humanitarian and community outreach, make us particularly well-suited to execute our responsibilities for this important initiative. We are extremely pleased with the results of the 2014 program and are looking forward to a successful program in 2015.

“Business must be run at a profit, else it will die. But when
anyone attempts to run a business solely for profit and thinks not
at all of the service to the community, then also the business
must die, for it no longer has a reason for existence.”
